The City of Port Alberni joins the community in honouring veterans on Remembrance Day.
Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held on November 11th at Glenwood Centre at 10:15am. Following the Glenwood Centre ceremony, services will be held at The Field of Honour Greenwood Cemetery and the Harbour Quay Cenotaph honouring Merchant Navy Vets, followed by food and fellowship at the Legion Cenotaph.
The ceremonies are organized by the Royal Canadian Legion's Port Alberni Branch 293.
Civic facilities, including City Hall, Echo Centre and the Public Works Yard will be closed in observance of Remembrance Day.
