Declaration of Election By Voting
The City of Port Alberni Municipal Council is comprised of a mayor and six councillors elected for a four-year term; the next general local government election will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Residents of BC, as well as property owners within jurisdiction are eligible to vote, provided they meet the Local Government Act eligibility requirements (see general election information below for details).
