Wildfire Protection

You and your neighbours can reduce the hazards of wildfire by taking a few preventative steps.  Follow the FireSmart Home Owner's Manual to help protect your home and neighbourhood.  

Fire Prevention Week   

Each year, Fire Prevention Week is promoted by fire departments all across North America.  Locally, the Port Alberni Fire Department attends the public and private elementary schools and delivers a fire safety message to Grade 3 students.
