City Hires New Director of Corporate Services

Port Alberni, BC – The City of Port Alberni is pleased to announce the hiring of Danielle Leurebourg as the new Director of Corporate Services.

Ms. Leurebourg brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, honing her local government experience over recent years. Along with bringing proven skills in government relations and advocacy to her new role at the City, Ms. Leurebourg has continued to further advance her knowledge of corporate administration and is in the final stages of completing a Master of Business Administration.

 “I look forward to working closely with Danielle and drawing from her corporate services experience in the local government sector to help move key initiatives forward in the City,” said Tim Pley, City of Port Alberni CAO. “We welcome her extensive background in legislative analysis and public policy, which I know will be a strong asset to senior leaders and Council.”

In her role at the City, Ms. Leurebourg will work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer in all tasks related to the statutory duties and responsibilities of corporate administration and will be responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to Council, its Committees and to the Corporate Services department generally. 

“I am excited and honoured to join the team at the City,” said Ms. Leurebourg. “I look forward to working with Council and staff to implement Council’s strategic objectives and to serving the  growing and vibrant City of Port Alberni.”

Ms. Leurebourg will assume her new role on January 3, 2023.
