Advisory Traffic Committee

The Advisory Traffic Committee serves to review and consider matters related to the control and movement of vehicular, pedestrian and cycling traffic within the City of Port Alberni.

The  Advisory Traffic Committee (ATC) is made up of representatives from:

  • City of Port Alberni Engineering and Public Works
  • City of Port Alberni Fire Department
  • City Council
  • RCMP
  • ICBC
  • Transit
  • School District #70

These representatives meet four times per year to review traffic matters raised by the Committee, City Council and the public. This may involve signage, road markings, crosswalks, traffic lights, etc.
