City of Port Alberni Holiday Hours for Easter Weekend

City of Port Alberni offices will be closed on Friday, April 14, 2017 and Monday, April 17, 2017 for the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays. The next City Council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017 in Council Chambers at City Hall.

Garbage and Recycling Collections

There will be no residential garbage and recycling collection services on Easter Monday.  Residential collection services will be delayed by one (1) day. For example, if your collection day is normally Monday, it moves to Tuesday, Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, Wednesday collected on Thursday, and Thursday collected on Friday. Parks, Recreation and Heritage

All Community Centres, including the Alberni Valley Museum will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, except for previously scheduled rentals.  Please note that while the Echo Aquatic and Fitness Centre is open on Saturday and Sunday, there will be no swimming lessons on Saturday, April 15.  

Port Alberni Regional Transit System

City buses will run on the Sunday schedule on Good Friday and Easter Monday, and regular schedules for Saturday. Schedules and route maps are available online at https://bctransit.com/port-alberni/home
