National Geographic Adventure Magazine names Batstar Adventure Tours as One of World's Best

Batstar Adventure Tours of Port Alberni has been named to the prestigious National Geographic Adventure Magazine's list of the World's Best Adventure Tour Companies.  Batstar is the only Canadian west coast sea kayak company on the list and the only company from Vancouver Island.

Batstar made the list after the Magazine reviewed their operations and interviewed their customers.  The award is one of many that owners Blake and Rhonda Johnson have earned in recent years including Vancouver Island Tourism/Hospitality Business of the Year, Vancouver Island Fast 25 Award and Alberni Valley Small Business of the Year.

In the course of running their business and picking up these awards Batstar have also generated an incredible amount of positive media attention for the Alberni Valley over the years of their operation.

Recently, Batstar expanded their Adventure Tour company to include a full service cafe in Port Alberni with a menu inspired by the fresh local food they serve on their kayak trips.
