Application to the Innovative Clean Energy Fund

Dec 10, 2008:  The City of Port Alberni has submitted a $2.2 million application to the Innovative Clean Energy Fund for one-third of the costs of determining the technical, business and economic benefits of integrating a cellulose ethanol bio-refinery with the Catalyst Paper mill in Port Alberni.  Wood Tech 21 and Paszner Technologies Inc partnered in the application and Catalyst provided a letter of support.  The status of the application will be declared in early 2009.
