You may access records for the City through the City Clerks Department. We endeavour to have information readily available and much of it is provided through our website.
Agendas and Minutes
Online versions of the City Council’s regular meeting agendas and minutes are posted for your convenience. Our goal is to make this information as readily accessible to the public as possible, but please be aware that online versions of minutes and agendas are not the official version. Official versions are available from the City Clerk’s Department.
Every effort is made to post agendas on the Friday before regular Council meetings. This includes an agenda outline all reports and correspondence. The agenda enables citizens to be aware of the business to be conducted by Council at their regular meetings. Complete agenda packages are also available from the City Clerk.
Council Summary
Council Summaries are an outline of the items considered at regular Council meetings and the decisions made by Council. These are provided for convenience only and are usually available the day after each regular Council meeting. They do not represent the official minutes of Council meetings. To verify any action taken by Council, please contact the City Clerk.
You may receive an email copy of the Council summary. Please contact the City Clerk and you will be placed on the distribution list and receive a copy automatically after each regular Council meeting.
Public Notice Posting Place
The Community Charter requires that the City designate a Public Notice Posting Place where notices required by the Community Charter may be published for public access. The City has designated a notice board at City Hall in the lobby for this purpose as well as the space on the City Website. Types of notices to be found at this site include, public hearings, land disposition and changes to the schedule of regular Council meetings.
